Its been about ten years since I befriended our amazing Congresswoman, Ileana Ros-lehtinen. Over that time, there are very few subjects that we have not discussed. A couple of years ago, she, her district chief Debbie Zimmerman and I, were discussing the Jewish community and somehow Ily brought up the fact that many of the Holocaust survivors who are still alive, live in her district, up in the Miami area.

Father John Baker welcomed Father Peter Scott , the pastor of St. John’s Fisher Parish in Great Britain. Bobby Nesbitt Adopts Havanese

Bobby Nesbitt and Mike Mulligan have adopted their very first puppy, a rare Havanese breed named “Charlie”. Originally bred in Cuba, hence “Havanese”, the breed is becoming increasingly popular. Years ago, a woman went to Cuba and rescued 11 of the dogs before Castro could destroy them. Castro thought they were too elite. All the Havenese in America today are the descendants of the original 11 dogs. Charlie is eight months old and lives with Bobby, Mike, and their 18 year old cat.
